Welcome
Luther Burbank .. October 1 .. and the lucky number is ....

I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who visited Gardens of California at the National Heirloom Exposition. Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds and the Petaluma Seed Bank brought together an exhilarating collection of vendors, all sharing an intense belief and ability in natural garden practices.

I continue to wonder who the lucky winner of these books will be. I noticed the excitement over the color prints by those who took a peak at the books. As a collector of antique and vintage post cards, I thought these would be magnificent in such a display. YET, something inside of me said these belonged just where they were, keeping the integrity of these marvelous works; just as we work to keep the integrity of our seeds.

October 1, I will announce the winning number and contact the winner (if the contact information is not legible (the print area on the ticket was very small, I apologize) please contact me. I will ask only that you mail the winning stub to Gardens of California, PO BOX 3773, San Ramon, California 94583-3137 with your mailing / contact information. Upon receipt I will mail the books to the winner.

Being a small business owner certainly comes with rewards, and sharing these books is at the top of that list.

May we all meet again, soon and often.

Please contact me with any questions.

Warm regards, Bridget Guzzi

It is better to seek out first, what nature has stored away for us, and then to use new environments to improve or intensify traits and habits which already have the advantage of several centuries of start.
